1987 Mercury Sable how to change out the blower motor

1987 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my blower motor went out about a little over a week ago. I have got one to switch it out but I would like to know how to switch it out properly. thank you

1.Open glove box and release retainers.
Lower door.
Remove recirculation duct support bracket to cowl screw.
Disconnect vacuum hose to recirculation door motor. Remove 6 recirculation duct to heater assembly attaching screws.


2.Remove recirculation duct from heater assembly. Disconnect blower motor electrical connector. Remove blower motor fan clamp and fan.
Remove 4 blower motor mounting screws.
Remove blower motor.


Reverse procedure for installation.
