Two days ago my car stopped shifting from Park. None of the three brake lights are coming on...and the interlock for allowing the gear shift to move from park is not working. I tried checking the fuses and the brake switch, and I don't see anything wrong. I used a continuity tester to test the fuses and the brake switch. When the brake is pressed there is continuity, and when it is released there is no continuity. My brake idiot light was on before the issue occurred...the brake lights were not on, but the dash indicator was. What am I missing and where else could I look?
