unless you tell us what you have done instead of "tried everything" then we don't know what you'vedone. I would suspect athat your car needs a carb overhaul as the fuel made today and carries alot of alcohol in and it has screwed up your accelerator pump and power valve. the newer kits have different materials that will accept thenewer fuels. Other than that check your ignition area, thesedistributors were good for wearingvacuum diagphrams where they connect to thedist plate, as well as thedist plate would wear the pin as well as the bushing in it effecting your point movement during acceleration....
