When car and engine is good and hot from a road
trip and you make a short stop for fuel or food
10-15 min. the fuel pump will not run. A 30 min.
cool down and the problem is gone. After 4 trips
to the repair shop and 1 tow. I still do not know
anything. No fault codes show up and by the time
that the garage people get there, the car has cooled
down and it will start.
This is a 1999 Mercury Mystique , 4 cyl. w/52000 miles
What is the problem?? Also ,does the fuel pump
have a thermal cutout on it , or the mass air flow
sensor??
Thanks James Vogel
