2005 Mercury Mountaineer cv joing

I see this question was posted way back on September 2, 2009.
I do not know why you did not receive an answer before this.. Well, Here it is ....

Somewhere in the vacinity of $400.00 - $500.00

It all depends on there labor charge.The CV Joint is $302.00 alone.

It is a little unusual for a 2005 Mountaineer.
100K is not much mileage at all.
Mountaineers usually go 200,000 + miles easily.
What is the Mountaineer doing ?
Makeing a crunching sound?
