2003 Mercury Mountaineer Air cabin filter

2003 Mercury Mountaineer

Is there a cabin air filter on this model? If so, where is it located. I have a musky smell that blows out of the A/C unit, more so if I use the max air setting. What is causing this? Can something get into the air system and keep causing a smell?

My software doesnt show a cabin filter for that one.IS it losing any coolant with no visible leaks? If so you may have a leaking heater core. Otherwise try using Ozium to kill theodor, run thenormal a/c seting and spray it in at vent at base of windshield, then turn to heat and spray, then to MAX a/c and spray at floor, this will cover the entire system
