While pulling off the automatic transmission filter, a part which looks like a top with an O ring fell out. I cannot find where it goes. It is about 3/4" dia. with a shaft of about 1/4" dia X 1" in length.

Sorry, your picture is very fuzzy.

Please send a description of where it goes or a clearer picture.

, a part which looks like a top with an O ring fell out

What I use to illustrate what you have described is for a C4 Ford Auto Tranny not for yours

The valve goes to the lower part of the valve body.I'm searching thru Mit1 and Alldata but nothing is coming up on this throttle pressure limiting valve where its position-

Sorry this the best I could do

I found out through an other source that it is a plug that the factory installs after the fluid is added but before the fill tube and dipstick is installed. When these are installed, the plug is pushed by the fill tube and ends up at the bottom of the pan.

So, basically, it is not an issue and can be trashed.
