I want to replace the wheel bearings on the Front wheels. Front has Disk brakes. What do I need to do to remove the inner and outer bearings and races. Do I need some special tools?

Why do you want to replace them? 2wd models do not have inners and outers. This is the 4wd:

the bearing is part of the hub. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Mercury/Mountaineer/Timken/Wheel_Hub_Assembly/19972001/TMSP450200.html?tlc=Engine+%26+Drivetrain
