Apparenty I did not make myself clear on the previous question on how to remove the rear door
glass so I can remove the regulator. Its a 95 Merc.
grand Marquis.I have the glass loose from the regulator but it has to come completely out of the frame before I can remove the regulator.Even the shop manual does not tell how to do this.Possibly the weather strip has to be removed.

There are 2 bolts that look more like flat washers with holes in them unscrew these and you should be set.

Those bolts do not unscrew, they are riveted in.
I finally got in there with a Dremal tool and ground
them off with a small stone. Then I was able to remove the regulator. I drilled the same bolts off of the new regulator and welded 1/4 inch nuts in their
place.then bolted the new regulator in with 2 new
1 inch bolts.I didnt have to remove the glass at all this way.

OK! I guess they changed the design from bolts to rivets.
