The washer/wiper started coming on by itself yesterday. If I turn the wiper knob control to low or high and shut it off it will turn off. But later the washer/wiper will come back on by themselves again.

sounds like a momentary short in the multifunction switch. you should replaced you turnsignal /winshield wiper switch
