need to replace air intake has a crack on front coolant crossover are there any special tools needed to do this never done it before but have to do it myself as do not have the money for an auto shop ...

no special tools except for a fuel line disconnect(you can purchase tool at parts store for a couple bucks) pretty straight forward job.

be careful when purchasing used. most of the intakes that are plastic at the thermostat housing break. ford has updated the intake and made the front part aluminum.

i realized that the one i am getting is an updated one i am more worried about messing it up than anything but i am usually pretty good at this always succeded before just the injectors scare me

as far as intake replacements go this has got to be the one i would be least scared of. there is really nothing you can do wrong unless you are an absolute animal. really you will be surprised how fast and easy you get this done. good luck
