1995 Mercury Marquis Fuel Safety Switch

I have a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis that I recently bought. Someone in my family accidently turned off the rear suspension air bags. While driving the car, my wife bottomed out and the car acted like it ran out of gas. My question: Is there a fuel safety switch on this car and how do I reset it? I have tested everything except the fuel safety switch and the fuel pump so I thought I would try this before dropping the tank. Thank you.
