But unfortunately, it is one of those "Go to the shop five thousand times" car. 99 Mercury Cougar v6 Auto 120000. I just had the entire engine (long block) replaced and had a mass air flow sensor replaced (2nd trip), all my spark plugs (3rd trip), my ox sensors (4th) and a seal in my power steering (5th). Now here's my question. When I am driving about 10MPH in my car, and I turn LEFT, my car makes a noise. It sounds like it is coming from the front fender on the drivers side, but it's only going at THAT speed and only when I turn Left. The noise sounds like a low pitch grind. Any suggestions??
P.S. I had to replace the engine because my water pump overheated, boiled my battery, cracked my heads, bent the rods and seized the camshaft. Total engine replacement. Horrible. The fire department had to put my battery out. Poor car.

hi there ,
sorry for all of your troubles , but unfortunately the cougar was only made a few years for that reason, as far as the lwo speed grind noise you may want to check the front wheel bearings , and the brakes while your right there anyway , i would suspect the bearing though , very common. good luck

thanks

Thanks so much for your answer! Unfortunately, I am deceiving because I don't know jack about cars, apparently, there was a piece of plastic rubbing my tire making this noise, but thank goodness I took the car in because I had a bad motor mount that they replaced! :) Thanks again!
