What is the importance of the vacuum hose on the top of my tranny. The tranny was slipping and not working at all most of the time. I am in the process of ripping it out and I noticed the vacuum hose on the very top front of the tranny was broke off. I ain't that far into this job. Should I put a new vacuum hose on there and try it. Where does the other end of the vacuum hose hook. It came off when I removed the air filter housing and battery holder assembly. Can you help me???
