1999 Mercury Cougar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
My girlfriend has a 99 Cougar and the car has a cel. P1131. I have done some research on this code and I understand what the code is. I have replaced the pcv, maf, plugs, wires, coil, vaccum lines, egr gasket, fuel filter, and even took the intake manifold off and cleaned it. The car runs great and doesnt appear to have an exhaust leak. I was just wondering what I could replace to get this light to go away.
