I have a V6 engine and whats happening is i replaced the ignition switch , distributor cap plugs and wires and a coil I'm not getting any spark when i try turning the key and its not even cranking but when we put a metal tool on the solenoid on the fire wall we hear the starter cranking but wont turn over we call different auto part stores and they all said that the reason why we hear cranking when metal touches the solenoid on the firewall cause we bypassing the solenoid on the starter and getting power from the one on the firewall they all said to replace your starter the dash lights wont even come on when i turn the key do you think that all has to do with the solenoid on the starter?
