i recently got a 91 capri nonturbo and am having a nightmare trying to figure out what the non charge concern is.
when i got it it had a bad alternator on it and the previous owner put a new alternator on and it wasnt charging so i put a new battery and alternator on it.
i put a new belt on and adjusted it right.
im getting 12 volts with key on but when running i am getting 12.2 at battery terminals. i am not sure if the previous owner had all the connectors to the alternator on when i got it.
any ideas or concerns that have happened to you in the past would be greatly appreciated.

usually if you only get a slight boost in volts the regulator is suspect, but also check the battery cables, and the battery ground to the engine block.
If you put in a rebuilt alternator, you may have got a lemon! I am not sure if your alternator has internal regulator but if yes, try a different one.
