can not figure out why the redlight is blinking when trying to put my top down. process starts with the windows going down and then just stops and nothing else happens...any ideas?

The red light blinks because the control module is not getting the required signals from the top position sensors.Double check that the luggage flap in the trunk is closed.The top will not work with luggage flap open.Check for trouble codes if luggage flap is closed.
