1999 Mercedes Benz SLK230 Blower doesn't work

My girlfriend bought a 1999 slk 230 and the blower does not work. it will not turn on or blower air of any temperature into the cab. How can i test to see if the motor is bad, or if it is a wiring problem. If you could please point me in the right direction to trouble shooting this problem.

I am going to assume automatic climate because there is not a button with a snowflake on it to kick on the compressor.
