Dear sirs:
The mercedes described above has been operating without incident, though driven sparingly. However, after parking at a local store for 10-15 minutes, it would not start, but gave a "weak battery" sound, i.e., wanting to start but transformed into a 'CLICKING" sound about 0.1 secs after the "normal" starting sound. A jump start got me going; however, within 4-5 miles the car completely and gradually shut off in the following manner: 1) the "low battery" light came on and started to flash slowly; 2) the "ABS, SUSPENSION, AND OTHER DASH LIGHTS" started to come one and flash, all this accompanied by a "clicking" sound. Finally, the radio and a/c lights started blinking followed by a complete shut down shortly thereafter. The starter was silent after the above-described events. However, a "jump" start did bring about another series of "low battery" clicking sounds, but it would not start.
