2002 Mercedes Benz SL500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am having trouble knocking the pad lock in pins there is a small hole on the outer side of the caliper and i have tried knoking them out but they do not seem to move i thought that they may be srewed in but there is nothing to lock on to can you tell me how the 2 pins that go through the pads come out

The pins will come out with the proper punch. Make sure you are using a small long metal punch. Place the punch on the side with the small opening and hammer it out. It may be tight but this is the proper removal. When reinstalling a trick to getting the pins fully in is to use a small thick punch to seat the pin fully.
