hard top doesn't release

I Haven't taken my hard top for a while. I tried removing it but when I pulled the red release button by the gear shift... the windows rolled down but the top failed to pop-out. I checked all the fuses and they're all ok.

Hello,

One of the common issues is a faulty convertible top control module.
This module is what controls the operation of the to.
The convertible top control module is located behind the passenger seat (see diagram).
First make sure there is no corrosion or burnt connector.
You can also try resetting the module by disconnecting the battery and wait 60 minutes. This will reset the module.
