1997 Mercedes Benz SL500 Rear Tire Excessive Wear

I have excessive wear on the both rear tires but the right is more severe. The tire wear is on the inside of the tire. The rear tires are 275/60 18.

Does the Toe in/out effect this or could it be bad shocks. I have balanced the tires and still get vibration at 70 MPH and higher.

Hi there.

I would be getting the rear suspension check and the alignment check by a Benz work shop, i would not have a general mechanic or tyre out let do this. I think the problem may be in the set up of the suspension so let the experts look at this one.
