I have a 2003 Mercedes ML 350...The coolant light came on and I called Mercedes Benz and they asked me to add water to the car. I did...a couple hours later the car overheated, the coolant light came back on, the power steering went and the battery light came on too. I had to get it towed in. When the car got towed I noticed a loose belt hanging from underneath the car. This belt the towing guy said was the serpentine belt. My question is...how long do these belts last? My car has 61,000 miles and I keep it under a very rigorous maintenance program through the MB dealer. Is this normal?
