Front End Problem

I hit a large piece of wood in the road a few weeks ago. I have had the wheels balanced and aligned over and over several times, but the problem still exists. It hit on the front driver side. When driving I can feel a "sway" in the ride as well as some vibration (which I can see in the passenger headrest when driving). It no longer has the smooth ride I once had and it is hard to stablize on the road. I feel that something is bent in the tire rod, stabling rod, axle or something that has caused this problem. Prior to this incident, it rode smoothly and I have bought new tires, and have had them re-balanced and aligned close to 5 times. Each time I take it in, they can never find anything bent or out of the ordinary. Evidently there is something bent or damaged in that particular driver side wheel. Can you please help!

if they can not find anything wrong with anything bent or broke, i would have them take off the wheel and check behind the brakes for a bent axle or hub.
