Electric windows

Hi all,
I have a Mercedes CLK conv', the drivers door window does not raise and drop half an inch as it should when the door is opened and closed, can anyone tell me where and what I should look for?
I believe that each door has an ECU!!

Each door does have a door control module. This does happen periodically where a control module looses a normilized function. This may be as easy as just reseting the control module or may require replacement. Either way will require a MB Star Diagnostic machine to complete this repair.
