My fans on my CLK500 sound like a jet engine once in a while. I bought the car in washington st where it is always cold and never had a problem. But when I moved to TX the problem began.

Another is my car shakes a bit when at idle..

MB fans are quite powerful and in hot environments will make a "jet engine" sound. Because of the heat in southern states, owners in these areas will notice this sound where as an owner in Washington may never hear this sound. Here in So Cal in the summer I hear these fans screaming in the Palm Springs area.
