2002 Other Mercedes Benz Models 4 cyl Automatic

Hi, My wifes Mercedes A160 (2002 model) wont start. The car drove fine the day before, today there is only a faint click when trying to start, the battery seems to fine-reading 12v even when trying to start the car. Please help!

The battery is 6yrs old get it load tested and make sure its cleaned and properly tightened. It takes atleast 12.4 volts to kick the starter over. Or do this have helper hold key at start position and bang on the starter if it kicks over-replace the starter-No kick backtrack to the starter relay/gear position switch/ignition switch

Not familiar with car make/model but if you follow the battery positive cable from the battery to the other end its there. Sorry couldn't give you the exact location
