1999 Other Mercedes Benz Models Replaced the camshaft postio

Have you considered the crankshaft position sensor. This is located on the drivers side top of the bell housing and can be accessed from the top of the motor. Sometimes these collect water around them and will corrode, eventually causing a stall condition.

Yes, i have changed this in my car and the car still stalls especially in low gear. after cooling down it starts. what can be causing this pls?

Have you replaced the Mass airflow sensor as well. This can often times cause stalling conditions. Also consider a worn fuel pressure regulator, this will often times cause poor running and stall conditions as well. Also a camshaft position sensor can also cause stall conditions as well at low speeds. Do you have any warning lights on in the dash?

changed the crankshaft position sensor and it kept up. will look at the air flow sensor and fuel pressure regulator. there are no warning lights whatsoever and when u check the system, no codes show.

Were there any conditions that lead up to this. Did you notice any other problems before the stalling began? Decreased fuel mileage? Poor idle? Lower top speed? Hesitations?

Nope, nothing at all. it just started.

You said your fuel pump is running at 100% what is the fuel pressure reading at the fuel rail? Also don't rule out faulty injectors. If you hold a screw driver to them you should hear them click on and off as they actuate.
