I have a 98 E320. My gas cap is difficult to get off when trying to refuel. I replaced it about one month ago and the new fuel cap is doing the same thing. The gas tank neck does not appear to be bent or anything but I have to pry the cap off when trying to fuel up. As stated above, buying a new one did not rectify my problem. I feel that this is a bad design by mercedes. I noticed that the M320 has a different design that works with no problem. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to correct this problem?
