1996 Other Mercedes Benz Models Leaking water

I have 1996 C220. I am trying to figure out why my car is leaking water. it seems to only leak water when the car is off. I have already check the hoses and they seem to be all ok. I was thinking it might be the water pump but i was told if it the water pump that is not working, the car would leak when it on. So what should I do?
