I have a 1994 Mercedes E320 with a possible cracked head causing overheating problems. Estimate to repair - $3800-$4800. W/in last month replaced water pump, thermostat, radiator, belt, fan clutch thinking this was problem @ $1200 expense. Problem continued. Now we know what the cause is..!! But, at this expense and the age of the car....

Do I repair or sell for parts?

Car is clean, no body damage, rebuilt engine at 90,000 miles by previous owner. Total miles - 141,000 (including above 90,000).

I am 3rd owner.

If it was me I'll sell it and don't even look back at it and head on over to a used car lot and see what I can get from it-atleast for a down payment- Too much Benjamins involved here.
