Hi. I'm a seventeen year old girl with almost no knowledge about automobiles. My sunroof will not shut anymore. It's been stuck for almost two days now. I really don't have the money to get it professionally checked out, but don't want the rain or approaching winter air to get in either. What can I do?

Your easiest way to keep the rain out is first remove your upper control panel (where the sunroof button is). You can do this by gently prying the light covers off with a screw driver. Lift from the side facing the rear of the vehicle. You should see a couple of clips now holding the rest of the assembly in. Gently press the clips with your screw driver to remove the upper control panel. Now you will see a motor mounted above this area. This is your sunroof motor. In the middle of the motor you will see a spot to insert a alan head wrench. Insert the proper size wrench and turn, you should see the sunroof now closing manually.
