1986 Other Mercedes Benz Models Smoke from exhaust

I have white smoke coming out of my exhaust. It comes out at idle and at speed. It starts perfect and it idles good when cold. Once warm it does not idle well. Is this major engine work or are there other solutions to look at first?

This is an indication of a blown headgasket. You will want to check your oil and make sure it is not milky in color. This is also an indication of a blown headgasket.
