I am driving home at 35 MPH, when two miles from home, my on dash ambient temperature gauge goes from the right temp. of 76 degrees Fahren to 24, then suddenly, all the dash board lights go out and I smell a odd smell like a blower motor just burnt out, and then all the lights on the car and the all the electrical parts on the dash fail at once, no radio, but the car runs on as if nothing has happened, until I get home. I open the hood, and check the oil, no over heating, no smells in the engine compartment, the belts appear to be all there, I believe the fuses, and blower motor are the problem, could a burnt up blower motor reek such havoc, or could the computer brain go haywire, I thought if the brain went, the car would stop running. Solution? Michael J. Hirschfeld.

Since everything is affected, I would think you either have a ground issue or the body control module is going bad. Does everything start working again after this happens?
