Reguardless if the ignition is on or off the blower for heat and a/c is always blowing on hi. Could issue be related to water leak at base of windshield on passenger side. What is the most likely cause? I'm a licenced mechanic but I'm not familiar with Mercedes (mine, not a customers) I'm generaly a gm and ford guy.

could be caused by faulty fan relay module, 2 of them, both in driver side fuse & relay module box (at left rear corner of engine compartment)

Thanks, I'll let you know if or when I manage to find the problem. Haven't had time yet and it's going to rain all day today...
