I own a 2006 Mercedes Benz C280 and I am considering replacing the air filter with a K & N Air Filter, however, I have been informed that the factury air filter in that car does not need to be replaced for it is a hepa filter, is this correct, or is it OK if I do replace it with a K & N filter?
