1999 Mercedes Benz C230 fuel filter

Your fuel filter is located under the car just inboard and slightly forward from the R/R wheel. There is a cover over the fuel pump and filter,removable with a 10mm socket.
With the car running you should be able to hear the pump humming, filter is adjacent.
