What's the easiest and best way to locate and repair a vacuum leak I know the general area where it is

Hi there,

You can often use a length of hose and listen for a vacuum leak, or spray a small amount of starter fluid around and if you hit the leak the revs will jump up, as for the repair, this will depend on where it is, gasket leaks or vacuum hoses.
