1990 Mercedes Benz 300se Help Car won't start.

I just purchased a 90 300se mercedes 3.0 with 150000 miles on it. had the car running for 10 minutes got in and put it in reverse and then drive and the minute i gave it gas it died and won't restart.
I have checked the following has new fuel pump and filter. It is getting fuel to all cylinders and spark injectors are good. checked all fuses and relays in fuse box. When i pull a spark plug it has fuel on it. what am i not checking.

Check for spark

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 in away from ground have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark?

I have checked for spark like you said.
however i am not getting a blue snapping spark but am getting a yellow orange spark.

You have a weak ignition-check the coil primary and secondary resistances.
