1993 Mercedes Benz 300sd No coolining

The heater works, The AC never comes on at all. I tried to jump the compressor but no luck. It takes 134,I added about 1 and half can of freon, Which it took it but the Compressor never comes on.Any help will be highly appreciated.

One can is insufficient to turn on the AC compressor if it is totally empty, you will need at least two, and you may have to jump a low pressure switch. The system will probably take 4 cans but you are wasting your time if you do not vacuum out of the system, that will also tell you if you have a leak, so you don't waste your free-on. This job requires several special tools you better take it into a professional
