Electrical problem
1983 Mercedes Benz 300sd Two Wheel Drive Automatic 265000 miles

Hi, My old Mercedes engine light came on the other night and not sure why. She runs fine, well as good as she always has. :) no fluids low. Brakes seems to be kinda funny. when you release pedal and mash again it seems to go way down. But it has done this since the last brake change. No light till now. Any ideas?

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

Ok, let me first say Iam not an idiot. I have a degree in electronic engineering. I was hoping more for a response of how to check the codes. For example, on a lets say 90-95 camaro, 2nd generation obd I you could short out the connector to get it to flash the codes. lol
come on now bra. lol

Hey brada, no be like that I don't call people names I ought to look at myself before I do that-Bra sounds like the brake master cylinder is leaking inside bad seals/cups not holding the pressure try checking the kind.
