1981 Mercedes Benz 300sd 275000 miles

After a day of heavy rain my car's backlights, turn signals, and everything on the dash board (speedometer,odometer,fuel gauge) literallyeverything went dead. I checked the fuses, they all look fine. Any idea as to how this can be repaired?

Look for any bulkhead connector with water intrusion, this is done by removing the negative battery cable, then removing the main wiring harness connection at the firewall(bulkhead connector) check for signs of moisture, dry bothe sides of it, apply die electric grease and plug it back in, these usually have a screw holding the two halves together.
