1986 Mercedes Benz 300d 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I need to get the information for my mechanic to reset the timing chain for my car. it over heats even though the radiator, fan and head gaskets were all check, replaced etc.

Have you checked the thermostat if not do so-timing chain is not the problem-could be a retarded ignition timing and other things
