1976 Mercedes Benz 300d 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 100.00 miles

the battery will not stay charged. I had a jump start,drove home 12 miles,shut the car aff and now it won't start.

Hi there,

You will need to have the charge rate of the alternator tested, and also get the battery charged & load tested as it may have an internal short and it is not taking re charge.
