oil light comes on & stays on for a little while & goes off. Oil level is full, oil is clean. Very little bit by the rubber seal @ the top of engine puddles up. is the oil light just for "oil level" if so, why is it coming on?

Check the oil presssure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings
