Our 190e sputters after you start it and as you back it out of the garage. It also has been sputtering while taking off from stop signs/lights, especially with the air conditioner on.

WHat do we need to do?

Has it ever been tuned up? At that mileage a major tune up is in order (plugs,wires,cap,rotor,fuel and air filters)

We have only had the car about 10,000 miles. Assuming it was tuned up at 1000,000, what would be causing a problem like the one I described?

sounds ignition related, especially since it gets worse with the a/c on. Inspect the tune up before you get too worried about other things
