Transmission problem
1989 Mercedes Benz 190e Automatic

I recently purchased an 89 mercedes 190e and the transmission is acting funny, when I step on the gas it does not go right away, and it jerks. my question is do i need a new transmission?

not to sound like a jerk but buy a differnt motor and put a good transmission in that car i love mercedes i have 4 and the worst mercedes ever made is the e class there transmissions are expenxive and suck but hey at least you bought mercedes lol
