Hey there, I've got a 86 B2000 (2.0L engine) with 120K miles and a "wobbly" crankshaft (looks bent-- possibly a bad repair of timing belt from previous owner?) I'm guessing I need to replace the whole engine, but I hear the B2000's are notoriously bad engines, and also not easily switched with another model. Wondering if I need to find another 2.0L B2000 replacement engine, or could I fit a B2200, or for that matter, any other make or model of engine? I'm scouting for a decent salvage engine to replace mine, but I'm not sure WHICH engines would be acceptable replacements, or if I do need to find a B2000, specifically. Anyone know? Thanks! :?:
