Engine Performance problem
Mazda Truck 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I really need your help!

I need a point A to point B on all my hoses. All my manual has to offer is "be careful when you remove them not to get them mixed up" I can't unring that bell.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hello –

Well, we can’t make any promises since we don’t know what our manuals say, but we will sure give it a try!

First, I need a little more detailed info on your vehicle.

Please tell me the year, I know it is a Mazda, but I need the exact model, engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Hello –

I want to make sure that you have just the B2000, not the B2000LX, or the B2000 SE-5. Also, is this vehicle in California………..as there are two choices………Federal and California Models and Canada but I assumed you were not in Canada..

Thanks

Is it possible hooking up the vacuum lines could cause a leak in the front end? Started leaking oil pretty heavy after i hooked up the vacuum lines using a diagram off the web.

the supplier for the diagram said althought it comes up under B2200 on https://www.2carpros.com/articles/mitchell1eautorepair-car-repair-manuals that the vacuum systems on mazda b2000 trucks years 1986 and up were the same.

Can I trade my request for a vacuum diagram for help with the oil leak I believe is coming from my front seal. It didn't leak at all until i worked on the vacuum hoses?

Thanks for your timely responses,

Dave

Hi Dave

Well, you don’t have to trade; I will gladly give you the vacuum diagram I just need the previous questions answered and may for the oil leak. They were:

I want to make sure that you have just the B2000, not the B2000LX, or the B2000 SE-5. Also, is this vehicle in California………..as there are two choices………Federal and California Models and Canada but I assumed you were not in Canada. AND – please tell me the size of your engine in liter…………I know it is a 4cyl….but what is the liter size………should be on a decal under the hood………..

If you are sure it is from the front seal……….are you………then no, I don’t see how vacuum hoses would do that unless you hit the seal with a screw driver or something. If the car has sat a while the seal may be drying out.

Again, are you sure it is coming from there?
